While there are many options for walls, floor tiles and their respective build add-ons, we all get stuck in the same rotation of textures. Also, some building sets are sorely lacking in completeness (that nice olive crumbling archway) or ability to use in a way that is not glaringly hideous (the teal wall-set comes to mind). So my question is to everyone:

If you could create a new wall/floor tile/build-mode add-on, what would you most like to see?

Yard add-on, 6 tiles out on east and south sides only. Not the one where you can use it inside the house but an actual yard only tool. The cost for the actual yard, which would need be purchased before using the tool would depend on tile size. Example: a 6x24 south *the 24 would meet with the 6 of the east side*or a 6x24 *the 24 would meet with the 6 of the east side*. If a player would want only the south yard it would be a total of 144 tiles at a cost of say 5k a tile equals 720k, for JUST the south yard. If a player wanted both a south and a east yard then it would be a 6x24 *144 tiles*and 6x18 *total tiles 108* tiles at 5k a tile equals  1,260,000 for a yard. Yard wand could cost 100k or whatever. These measurements would be for a 18x18 plot. And also would not recommend allowing them for water, mountain or star homes, only land based homes. *covers head and runs*

Disclaimer: If these measurements are incorrect it is due to lack of sleep and I cannot be help accountable. Thank you and have a nice day. :)

I would just like to see the reg yard wand come back, also i know theres a tool to move stuff half a tile, that would help a lot when designing and decorating.
For the wand that Tiea is mentioning, i would charge per tile lile the old yard wand, cost varies depending on what it it, i say per tile/use because you can raise the ''items'' and place them one on top of the other, also, a house as 4 stories.

We do still have the old yard deco script, but it was just too exploitable and there was no safeguards built in.

Players found several major issues, blocked dungeons/areas, griefed with it and it adds millions of unfrozen items into the world, which caused lag.

We have discussed many options, but UOE is such a large shard, 250+ players daily adding deco would become an issue quickly

I would like to fix this in the future, it was a nice tool

Personally I'm not interested in a yard addon. I have been on a server before with such a thing and it was just an excuse for UO-necks to throw their garbage out in the middle of the world for everyone to see. While I WOULD love to have a beautiful garden by my home, I don't like the idea enough to deal with some people throwing junk around and calling it art (LOL sorry, not trying to be harsh on anyone). But I would LOVE to see more textures for building (I'd even be willing to make these). A lot of these sets are incredibly incomplete and make building very difficult. I'm all about symmetry and some of the stinking wall selection wont allow it and it makes me twitch. That being said, I'd love to see more architectural addons to the home builder. And I Wish that stinkin illegal building crap would go away. Yes UO.... I understand your engine thinks that this can't possibly be supported, but in realife it would be one single piece connected to everything else and it would work just fine. LET ME BUILD MY PERGOLAS dagnabbit!

I was thinking more along the lines of new wall/floor/etc textures for our build menus when we are designing houses. Not like the yard thing, but actual graphics :)

I just dont understand why this isn't a thing.

Why did EA/OSI skip out on grass to dirt tiles? Its not like its hard. That took me literally 2 seconds to make. Like you said, I'd just like to see some of these sets completed.

Yes, i would love to add new items, graphics, textures...BUT it requires us to add the items to "slots" available and we used up a lot when we made our current patch.  Also every player would have to repatch to see the added items.  We do plan on doing this in the future and have a ton of graphical content already, waiting to be added.  If you want to make some new walls/textures I am all for it and appreciate the effort.  It may take us a while to update the patch, but would still use any new things you come up with, tyvm
