A monster name Aghanim(Spelling?) drops the mirror shield and the great fairy sword. Human-ish looking guy with a dark cloak. There are spawns for him in Malas and a couple in Fel. Kane has him coded to have an enormous variation in where he spawns and sometimes he can be very tough to kill. Good luck.

Wrong, The info is not on the wiki. Stop forwarding people to wiki with wrong info. Staff, The wiki is not anymore what you think it is in your mind.

Aghadim even with large spawn area (they don't variate as far as i know) is farmed by couple of vet player that know precisely where to find. Only way to know is to be very close from vet people. 0.00000001% to find him without info. (you see, people don't even know the true name of the monster and how to spell it, even me...)

The shield can be found, as a turn-in item during the Zelda Quest.  You must do the quest to learn the location of Aghadim and to get the shield.

The quest information IS in fact on the wiki, and with a bit of interaction with other players this info is easily obtained.  FYI the wiki is not intended to be a spoiler, just play the game, interact with players and have fun!  There is no need for negative posts about the wiki.  It is functional, it's full of valuable custom info, and you are welcome to contribute to correct any information you feel needs updating.

I have to say Hatchi, I could not agree with you any less about the monster that drops these items. I will not mention it as no one seems to agree on his name. I believe that the Fel example of this creature are a shining example of how to prevent the veteran or better informed/organized players from farming a desirable item. The spawning radius of this mob alone makes it next to impossible for someone to predict where he will be. As a bit of a spoiler one of the locations is somewhere near Horseshoe in Fel T2A. I have personally killed that mob as far NW as the shores due west of where Hunger Games is held. and as far SE as outside Terathan Keep. And it is random which tile he will spawn on next, I have hear those words directly from Kane's mouth in Teamspeak. I might be a bit of a veteran at this point but I by no means consider myself an elite player and I have found and killed this monster twice in the month since I came back from my "UO vacation." While I agree that groups will camp things like Spirilix and Magi Dragon this one is so much harder to nail down. Those mobs spawn in the same place and have pretty regular timers. I truthfully don't know what the timer is like, but he sure as heck isn't spawning in the same predictable spot over and over. Happy hunting, he CAN be found.

Seriously ? the guy ask for a mirror shield info and you give a page with no info about the question... the wiki should contain all custom information, and stop talking about spoiler everytime we want to improve the wiki, we have a full domino's library with every spoiler of the world and that don't seem to disturb you -_-"

Yes the wiki is a spoiler as he give information, but UO is not playable without spoiler, we do have a life beside and like UO stratics

  @ Hatchi

What Dante mentions above is very true

[There is no need for negative posts about the wiki.  The current content is functional, and is filled to the brim with valuable custom info. You are, very, welcome to contribute to the wiki, or correct any outdated or wrong information you feel needs to be fixed]

In the mean time, remember, that you have sent me useful information which is now on the wiki. All that needed to be done was a simple skim over, an editing sesion, and than I sent it to Dante. Within a day he posted it on the wiki. In the last month I have sent him other things as well, which he has since posted onto the wiki. So yeah, its at a slow pace, but the wiki is being updated regularly. Did I mention it is Christmas time, and the EVO staff is less then 10 people?  8)

The wiki, as of now is not at 100-- or even 85%-- accuracy, I agree. But being negative about that does little to remedy the situation. Patience is something I humbly say you lack sir. I suggest you learn a bit about it. (just being honest)

To me, the wiki is--or soon shall be-- a living breathing entity, not a text book of min/maxed information. UO-Evoluton is about playing the game, enjoying the moment, and witnessing the game evolve while you're doing so. Like Kane says-- though I am not quoting him here-- if you don't like the way the wiki is set up, fine, that's your choice, but that's also your own problem. Especially if you're unwilling to continue helping improve upon the wiki through the good and the bad times. Right now is a bad time, because of Christmas.

Let the past go. The new year is almost upon us. Either help, or don't help, with the updated wiki process; but please stop telling newer players-- on the forums-- there is no useful information on the wiki. Instead, go there [the wiki pages] with them and point out what they've missed. If you thoroughly look things over and find that the information is not on the wiki, then I suggest you find an accurate account of the situation/information in question and send it to me. I will look it over, talk about it with you, and then once it is edited send it to Dante so he can post in onto the wiki. Be patient, with the current process, is all I'm asking.

Remember, at the end of the day, the shard, the wiki, and the Teamspeak server are all Dante's in a manor of speaking. The great thing about freedom, though, is Dante can do what he wants with what is his.  Thank goodness he shares it all with us. He doesn't have to!  8)

The shield your referring to Dante in the Zelda quest is NOT the mirror shield. Its the Deku shield and its quit different than the mirror. Maybe instead of having a few vets hoarding all the shields it could be a one time quest that anyone can partake in

Ana-  The Mirror Shield *IS* part of the Zelda quest, you turn it in to receive a random Red Tunic (to Zelda).  Last place I personally saw Agahnim (the guy who MIGHT drop the shield) was near the City of the Dead in Fel T2A...but this was MONTHS ago.  He used to spawn in the Desert of Malas (near that one really long mine), and I've seen him a time or two around the Swamps of Papua in T2A Fel.  You've got to be really lucky to find him, as many folks know where to look, and the spawn changes periodically.

I've also run into him around Fel Covetous.

Having done the Zelda quest, I'm certain Dante was thinking of the Deku shield.
