Events / Pet Wars 6/02/18

-Pet Wars Pet: Swamp Dragon
Date/Time of Event: Sat June 2nd @ 6pm Server Time. 
Place: Global Moongate > Quest, Events & Games > Pet Wars
A 1st and 2nd Place Prize, along with participation prizes
for all entries will be up for grabs.
Things to remember while training your beasts:
-Put a Pet Wars tag on your pet before you train it. (Purchased at Brit Banks' Animal Trainer)
-Pet Must be Generation 1
-No Pet Powerscrolls
-No Pet Tonics
-No Bio-pet/Donation pet look-a-likes will be accepted as valid entries.
-Pets max level is 30
A couple rules to keep things running as smooth as possible:
-No PK during events. (Players or Pets)
-No Healing of any form on battling pets.
-Do not cast any spells to boost pet stats.
Day of the Event:
-When its your turn:
--Place pet inside the arena & use the "All Stay" command.
--Walk onto teleporter pad and place yourself inside of the cage.
--When both entries are in place, use command "All Kill" to begin the fight.
-When its Not your turn:
--Please take a seat in the participants seating area.
--Please ask any questions before the event starts as I do go over some rules before the start
-- Please pay attention to the event organizers
--When you win your match please sit in the benches on the south side of the pit inside of the fence
--If you lose your match please see the organizers for you prize bag, after receiving the bag please walk out of the gates and sit in the bleachers if you wish to stay and watch.
All other players who would like to attend without participating are more than
welcome to.  Seats are provided in a seperate section for these guests.

Domino's Deco Deeds Added: 14 new items
Mother's Day Rose Added:  Can be used on your house or in your backpack, after 1 day it will bestow a Simple Mother's Blessing Trait for 1 hour.  If the trait is not used however it will increase to Common, each day afterwards increasing to Mythical.  The cost is displayed ranging from 1 pedal to 3 pedals, each pedal is recharged for 100 Leprechaun Gold
Pet Stat Loss Trait Deeds Updated: Spelling issue
Leprechaun GOld Updated:  Added new item to be charged. (Really need to recode this when I get time)
Turn In Quest NPC Updated:  Provide more info when there are issues.
Config Champion Updated: Issue with numbers being set correctly
Blood Bracelet Added:  Next item in the series, special feature will inrease the Distruption Threshold for bandages
Beloved Blood Pool Added:  Every 4-7 days a chance to get gold, leprechaun gold or a blood diamond.  Number of items awarded is luck based.
Blood Diamonds Updated:  Needed to mature the code to handle upcoming features.
Blood Bracelet: A Healing base Bracelet for the Blood Diamond with 31 stages.  Stages can be increased by applying a blood diamond to the Bracelet.  The Bracelet will display the base chance of increasing when you run your mouse over it, you will also get a luck bonus and bonus from the specific kind of blood diamond applied that will NOT be diplayed.  Each stage has an equal chance of applying 1 to 2 points of the following groups:  Primary Skill, Special Attrib, Primary Attrib, Secondary Attrib and Resists.  The first time the skill groups are selected the Bracelet will determine which group will be applied from that point forward.
* Primary Skill:  Healing/Anatomy - Vetenary/Anatomy
* Special Attrib: Bonus to Distruption Threshold. (New prop found only on this bracelet that increases the threshold when fingers slip using bandages)
* Primary Attrib:  Bonus Dex/Bonus Int/Bonus Str
* Secondary Attrib: Bonus Hits/Bonus Mana/Bonus Stam
* Tertiary Attrib: Regen Hits/Regen Mana/Regen Stam
* Resists: All 
Blood Diamonds can be found by doing certain tasks, achieving your daily task goal (100% chance), milestones and a few other events/ways that will be announced during the month, a new house addon available as a reward and rare blood pools in dungeons.

Change Screen Resolution to 1024x768

Apply those changes

On Ultima Online Paperdoll Gump, go to Options

Look under the"eye tab"

Change Full Screen Resolution to 1024x768
Change Gameplay Window Size to 800x600

Apply the Changes

I think the delay on skipping is good(maybe minus 15 minutes from the range if my suggestion is taken), but I agree that the delay between tasks should be nix'ed. It makes interacting with the system tedious. You can't get in a grove at all. It also makes hitting the daily mark unobtainable for many players. For example, if daily tasks equal 12 for today, given a ~12 minute cooldown on completion, then there will be an average of two hours of delay, plus the time to do the tasks themselves. This could easily workout to 4-5 hours to complete the daily based on the current tasks and not having to skip any of them.

An alternative solution would be to adjust down the daily task range down by 4 on the max and min. This would be a great help, I play a ton and still have only hit the daily twice so far.

Or normalize the task difficulty. Not sure if this one is still in rotation, but anything involving a Gen 2 pet is insanely harder then kill x of monster y. Likewise for kill tasks that need you to kill x of a monster that only has 2 up at a time, with long respawn timers (looking at you Solen Queens). Finally, I agree wholeheartedly with Kaida on the beards and leather. This is exceedingly important since the storage keys automatically chop and cut these resources, and there are no keys that can hold the unprocessed versions of these resources.

It is a great system all around, but I think all the major ranges are off. If it was only one or two of them, I do not believe there would be an issue. But all three being off, in my opinion, makes the system hard to utilize correctly or fully.

I hope this feedback and my analysis help improve this marvelous system.

Actually, they are stronger versions of their listed type. The one I know specifically about is the Imprisoned Hellhound. Stronger then a regular hellhound, insta-bond, however it takes 2 control slots instead of one and is sterile (not dead sure about this one, but confident enough to bet on it).
